I'm Bringing "Kristy" Back...

Posted by Kristy

I got one of the best voicemail the other day. First of all it was great, because I was coming home from the BYU-Utah game and we WON! Jimmer Fredette was incredible, and watching Cummard stuff Neville, oh it was a thing of beauty. Anyways, the voicemail was from my sister Kacey because she was listening to a song called....drumroll...."Kristy, Are You Doing Okay." Can you believe it? A song with my name in it, and not only that but it's spelled the same! It was awesome. Of course the song is about this poor Kristy girl whose life kind of sucks, but still I feel special. Here's the depressing music video.

Anyways, more on how great my name is. So one day, my friends and I were having a google-off, you know when you search your name in Google and see who has the coolest things about them pop up. So I type in "Kristy Earl" and all of this stuff about some horror film called "Wolf Creek" starts popping up. So I investigate further and you'll never believe this, in fact I'll show you through IMDB.

Wolf Creek

Cast

(Cast overview, first billed only)
John Jarratt ... Mick Taylor
Cassandra Magrath ... Liz Hunter
Kestie Morassi ... Kristy Earl
Nathan Phillips ... Ben Mitchell
Can you believe it? I'm a movie character name.

Here's my creepy character at her finest. I was pretty surprised, I didn't think that "Kristy Earl" was a very common name. Hmm, maybe I have more enemies than I thought.

  3. Kristy,
The only famous person with my name is some professor in England, but really she's not famous. She was just the first person at the top of the Google list. You are so in!

  4. Hey, and I liked that song, too. 'xcepting when I heard it on the radio, I thought it was "Christine." So, now you have a famous song and a movie. I'm sortof famous; I've been in a movie, and my google name search comes up as some creepy movie director. Pretty rad.
